On Thursday the 4th of May 2006, I arrived in Nairobi Kenya Africa at 8:30 pm. I was picked up by church leaders and went to the hotel to settle in. After settling in I was asked if I wanted to go get some pizza, after a long flight I was ready to go. We went down the street from the hotel and were immediately approached by street kids that were begging for money. I started talking to one of the boys and asked him where he was from and what was he doing out so late. He said he was from a far village and had come to the city in order to survive by panhandling. I noticed he had a plastic bottle similar to the one I had seen a boy with in Nicaragua.
